Overview: A multimedia filter is an essential component in the pretreatment stage of pure water preparation and in water purification systems. 

Types: Quartz sand filters, activated carbon filters, manganese sand filters, and others.

Working Principle: Multimedia filter effectively removes impurities such as suspended solids, organic matter, and colloids by passing raw water through multiple filter media under pressure, reducing turbidity and improving water quality.
